"The Shepherd Plays by Tatiana Salutrinskaya"

I first learned this piece a couple months ago, following the progression of  the Russian School of Piano Playing series. Recently I realised the score was in my Keith Snell Grade 1 repertoire book -- with pedal markings! I haven't really learned to use the pedals yet, so I was super excited to give it a try. 😀

Tatiana Salutrinskaya was a Russian/Soviet pianist and composer. Sadly, as is always the case with female composers, not much is known about her life. This is all I could find on her (I even used google translate to search in Russian sites, but couldn't find any info beyond what Musopus has): https://musopus.net/musicians/salutrinskaya-tatiana/

Maira Martins

Hi, I'm Maira and this is my attempt at old-fashioned personal blogging in the era of social media overload. I'm a day trader, programmer and photographer currently based in Valencia, Spain, and the last thing I want to talk about is work.

My little corner on the internet is all about photography, travels, learning piano, gardening, baking... The kind of personal stuff I'd share with my mom on social media, but without the ads.
