Week 24: The perfect crime

my dog luna

  1. Every single tomato I've ever planted before the fences were installed, disappeared before I could harvest them. Same with the strawberries, I spent a year waiting for them, and then there were none. Also an entire box of butter cookies I gave to my MIL on her birthday, POOF! And about half a kilo of raw rice, mysteriously gone! I found some rice grains around the living room sofa, but nothing conclusive. The hardened criminal stole and ate 1.5kgs of meat entraña for BBQ right under our noses, and no one saw a thing... My 18h slow rise rye bread was left for a minute on the counter while I turned on the oven, and it magically disappeared. Coincidentally, on this very day, the dog showed up with an enormous round belly. After a vet visit we even nicknamed her Balloona. Again, we don't have any proof. The crimes happen really fast and there's never a breadcrumb left, no pawprints, nothing to connect her to the crime scene. It's all circumstantial.
