Tracking the changes I make to this website. Loosely following the Keep a Changelog format. Dates are yyyy-mm-dd because that’s obvious and logical.

Before 2025

From 2024-12 to 2025-02 I was using Adobe Portfolio and showcasing photo galleries. No blogging. Found no screenshots.

From 2023-11 to 2024-12 I was using Publii to host a blog about my progress learning piano. Found no screenshots.

From 2020-08 to 2023-11 I had a Gatsby static site that was supposed to be my return to blogging, on which I wrote a total of two posts, lol.

A minimalist website with white background and center text in black. At the top of the page there is a large black and white image of a large rock in the sea, with the text Hey aligned over the image. Towards the middle of the page, there is a large black and white image of a flock of birds against the sky.

From 2018-03 to 2020-08 I had a static site built by hand (html, css, js), no blogging. The site is still live on github pages and I still love it!

A website showcasing the work of a young frontend developer. From top to bottom, we see the following sections. A large black and white image of a large rock in the sea with the text Hey aligned over the image. An About Me section with black text over a bright yellow background. A Projects section with 12 screenshots over a white background. One-line of black text about working in teams, in a large font, over a white background. A large black and white image of a flock of birds against the sky. A section about Skills and Work Experience, over a bright yellow background. Two lines of large black text over white backround, about languages spoken and hobbies. A grid of 10 photos, some are landscape images, one is an image of a dog, the others are photos of a young woman doing different activities outdoors.

On 2012-05-04 I bought the domain name mairamartins.com. From that day until 2018-03, I had a website and blog on Wordpress about my wedding photography business. The design went through several changes over the years, but I found a screenshot of the final iteration on the Wayback Machine.

A website showcasing the work of a wedding photographer. From top to bottom we see the following sections. A very large image of a wedding couple hugging in front of a lake, visible only from the waist down, with the bride holding a flower bouquet. The text Weddings Portfolio is visible on top of the image and there are arrows pointing left and right, indicating this image is part of a carousel or images. A short About section with some text to the right and a photo of the photographer and a dog, to the left. A section called Favorite Work with 6 images linking to blog posts about recent work. A section with 3 photos linking to different blog categories. Each image has a text aligned on top, reading Weddings and Engagements, Personal and Travel, Families and Lifestyle. A section called FAQ with a photo of a groom to the right and on the left some text about choosing your wedding photographer.

From 2005 to 2012 I have blogged under several different domain names, using Blogger/Blogspot and Wordpress, mostly about my life – college, moving out of home, moving to a bigger city, moving to a different country, getting married, getting a dog…
