Watched: Person of Interest 📺
What a show! We started watching this in January, right after Astro died, to cope with the sadness. We are usually not into "monster of the week" types of series, but there is a very definite plot tying it all together.
Basically, it is about AI as a tool for mass surveillance and how it could be both good and nefarious, depending on who controls it. Now, the series aired over ten years ago! I can't believe how visionary it is, prophetic even. This series was really ahead of its time.
It is very action-packed, lots of bullets flying around, CIA agents, unlikely friendships, corrupt politicians, hackers triangulating locations and accessing super-secure banking systems... But at it's heart, this is a GREAT TV show with a really relevant theme (today, more than ever). The Season 5 Finale was absolutely incredible. Definitely worth watching!
